The Pasture Free Range system involves moving the hen houses around grass paddocks with no fences to contain the hens, they eat, sleep and lay eggs in their hen houses.

The hens love their natural habitat, wandering as far as they like, digging holes to find tasty worms, grubs, insects and tender shoots, roots, and seeds.
Digging holes and scratching is part of hen’s natural behaviour, they bath in dust to clean themselves and grow large strong bodies, with well-developed muscles.

The hens have no limit to their food intake and thrive on the diversity of their diet, this adds nutrients and flavour to our eggs, and make for a health hen.
This system exceeds standards for ‘free range’ in New Zealand.
Our eggs can be purchased in selected supermarkets, boutique stores, and bakeries around Otago and Central Otago.
We can be found at the Otago Farmers Market in Dunedin every Saturday selling direct to customers.

Eggs are supplied in dozens, half dozen, and trays of 30 eggs for retail customers.
